RAAF - BASO's excel in Aerodrome Reporting Officers course at Point Cook

Five members for the ADF - Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) recently attended the 5 day practical Nationally Accredited Aerodrome Reporting Officers skillset course for BASO’s at Point Cook.

This intense course covered nationally accredited units, MOS139 - Aerdoedromes along with a marid of operational practical applications and online e-learning with a purpose designed Learning Management System (LMS) for RAAF – ADF, BASO’s, ARO’s & WSO’s.

The RAAF candidates also undertook several practical live operations including this Displacing Thresholds and New Runway Ends in which the noted photo shows the end result from 1500” above the aerodrome RWY 26. (Thanks to the RMIT flight crew)

Well done to the five RAAF ADF personnel, Mick, Tom, Rob, Aaron and Michael, whom are now in their final stages of the eight demanding theoretical assessments at attain the Nationally Accredited ARO certification
